Deer Island sewershed — WastewaterSCAN and MWRA Biobot
Sampled two to three times a week. This is the current series.
Values are SARS-CoV-2 N gene copies per gram of dry solids, normalized to PMMoV and multiplied by one million — the same units the WastewaterSCAN dashboard plots. The dashed lines are the national 33rd and 66th percentiles that define the low / medium / high label. These numbers cannot be compared with the MWRA Biobot charts below, which use a different lab method and report copies per mL of wastewater.
This series has ended. Mass DPH phased out its testing program with Biobot Analytics in July 2026 and is moving testing in-house. The charts below are kept as a historical record and will not update again — the flat right-hand edge means sampling stopped, not that the virus went away.
